What is best to grind and sample for DNA ETC. Thanks!

I suspect you got one-starred because even a little digging would have found half a dozen threads on this question...

But the short answer is, there are two schools of thought: go to dant and sample Bols, or go to Mos Entha and sample yard trash. (Basic idea is, Bols give you more xp per sample; yard trash allows rapid chain-sampling.)

In either case, you need a crate or two of muon gold.

Personally, I made reasonable money while grinding sampling by making jaxes from yard trash dna and selling them in bags of 50 to aspiring CH's.

Either that or we're sick of people who don't give a **edit** about the BE profession and just want to get it over with to move onto the next profession for their precious Jedi slot.

I was like that... I just wanted to master BE and then I decided to give It a chance and i LOVE it!! I cant wait for the new patch and then it will really kick some a$$

I came into the BE profession as per a holocron's instructions, but now I'm probably going to hang out at master until the next patch at least. I'd like to have some fun making the new creatures and selling them. I have a lot of CH friends, and I'm a creature handler myself.

I came from a Holocron as well. I'm 4414. I love BE...I hate Sampling. It seems almost impossable for me to get sampling XP no matter what I do. I'll probably be keeping BE for awhile, but this DNA tree is a bunch of crap.

there's a wealth of information in the forums...just be prepared for the usual angst when you say you're a hologrinder...i personally don't care...i enjoy the profession for what it's going to be, and get certain satisfaction from the way it is right now

it's definitely a crafting profession, and like all of those, they're all about grinding...so get your 4 or 8 crafting tool macro, and just grind it out

dna sampling (for the grinders) is best doing yard trash...you can keep getting buffed by a master dancer in the cantina, and the crates of muon gold, combined with the dancer buffs, will make you a sampling monster...doesn't matter if you fail, because you can just sample spam the trash until they succumb to your dna needle

Can you direct me to where some yard trash is on tattoine? Also People no need to flame me I never said your profession was bad or worthless, i am a hologrinder yes but i'm also a combater not a crafter so i'm just trying to get it done quickly.

yes. yard trash is what we call the lairless, constantly-respawning creatures outside of cities.

You'll need 80k meat and 175k flora to finish the 3 crafting lines if you grind micronutrient supps.

For sampling, once you finish sample 2, go to Dantooine and sample pikets and bols for a week. Bring a droid with a food/chem station in it (i have a DZ.. seeker droid that bobs along behind me), so you can make pets while you wait for your mind to recover.

Make mountable pets from the DNA so you can sell them and make some cash, too.
