Theres a region on Endor which is west of the desert where merek spawn like hell, the lairs produce king, queen and cavern creeper merek as if they were normal mobs. Go through the search for the words 'Merek Praerie' which is what i often called it in past topics where I gave people the waypoint.

The Kings and Queens are not found with the other Harvestors. I will try in Tal N's spot

I have to wonder if this varies by server. I used the map you had posted once to find this area and didn't find mereks at all on Kauri, let alone king and queen merek. I ended up going to the huts to the west of the desert to kind the king harvesters.

The King and Queen Mereks are boss creatures that spawn when you blow up a merek lair.They come out with a bunch of Battlelord underlings and they come out ANGRY! If you are not ready for them it is a very quick trip to the cloning facility. The only way I can see doing this (collecting DNA)is hitting the lair the last time from a distance and then peacing out and running for it. When you get them off your tail sneak back and try to get to one of them. If you've found them randomly it probably means that some poor playeris sitting at the cloning facility wondering what the heck happened.

They seem to come out of every Merek lair, but that may just be my shell-shock talking. Look for lairs that spawn Blood-stained Mereks, Merek Cavern Creepers and Merek Deaths Heads. We don't get missions for these, we just hit the random spawns. We usually hunt with a BE who samples all the Deaths Heads, so they may be worth looking at too (and less dangerous).
