I was considering picking up the Tissues column of BE for my wife's needs as a Tailor. I have never considered going BE and am not really enthused about doing so.It just doesnt suit me. But BE clothes are pretty popular these days so...

What my questions is is will I be able to do anything quite efficiently without going Master? Would it be more beneficial to befriend a Master BE and buy the clothing related products off of them instead of investing time/harvesting resources into grinding thru it to Tissues 4?

you might be able to get by with just 0404, since +25 is the max and you need two of each tissue to reach that anyway

can't remember what, if any, tissues are only available to masters though

Master BE gives you the Tenslie Resist (top melee/stun) and Fear Release (warcry/intimidate) tissues for tailors, as well as the most popular high level chef suppliment.

Thanks guys... Well, if I can do the majority of the stuff at 0-4-0-4 then perhaps I will just purchase the Master items from a Master BE. Thanks

Good idea. Unfortunately for you you only get the best results by going Master. I am sure you can find a MBE to make a nice buisness relationship with.

OK I was thinking the same thing about dabbling for my tailor. What does the Engeering Tissues skill do? Does that up the plus you get on making tissues? Should I grind up that tree first then make the tissues?

Only a tailor would not understand what experimentation in crafting means, lol, sorry just had to say that (not your fault). Anyway, yes, your ability to experiment on tissues will account for most of the power that the tissues have, so it would be inconceivable to be in the tissues making business and not have a bunch of skill in engineering.

With 0-2-0-4 you'll be able to make all of the tissues with up to +7 or so in strength

With 0-4-0-4 you'll be able to make most of the tissue with up to +14 or +15 or so in strength

with master BE you'll be able to make all the tissues with up to +18 or so in strength.

With 0-2-0-0 you'll probably be able to make all the tissues at like +2 strength, with 0-4-0-0 you'll probably be able to make most of the tissues at like +7 strength.

The big thing about going master is the 25% on making/experimentation - which equates to 3 research blocks and a chunk of initial quality on the tissues.

I'm not entirely sure if you could get by with the 7 blocks. I'd guess probably - but expect to do a lot of experimenting for each batch and you won't be able to get the most out of the high quality materials.

Hee hee color me blond! Alrighty get ready for me to be asking more questions on this later on when I get into it.. With the new Image Design hair colors I can be like 20 shades of blond and will most likely be asking some really dumb questions.

OK... grind time! I was wondering why the heck I was only getting a plus 1 on things.

*bonk self*

Thanks for the info!
