This is a stupid post just wanted to share my pain with people who understand. I found them... finally just where they said 2400M NW of MSC vs NS and after 3+ hrs got 11 samples. There is a lot in between, including an incounter with a jedi, but I will continue about the mutant Rancors. For those having problems assuming you have +25 Mask Scent clothing stick to spawn of 3, the 6ers seem to be bugged to many agro chances and lots of death. Any way I get home (Tat.) and I decide that my HQ samples five in all I will use together to make something crazy. And you already guessed critical fail... yeah! SO now there are 6 VHQ so I decide well I still gotta see what they make so I put 5 together and no CF waho! so then I experiment (stop laughing at me) and use all my pts (I said stop laughing at me) and create this sweet DNA Template. I decide to put it in a woolomander ( I seem to favor those right now) and oh yeah! 14k HAM 670 DMG what the &^%&^%$^&($&*%$#&^$)*&% a lvl 85 $^&$&$&^ %$%^$#^%&%*&%&$&*%*& *%*%*& %*& %* why didn't you people tell me i could go up toa ^&*^(&^ lvl *&%*%*^* 85. So I named him Evil Woolamander and put him in my house cause I can't even (*^*(&%*&5 resample him cause he is too ^*&%*^%*&% big. And of coarse my 11th sample got trashed cause I accidently put womp rat DNA in the mind slot. (it was really late i should have just gone to bed.)

P.S. the Red text is not cursing, it is anger strikes at the keyboard. And I don't really blame you people.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

One of the reason's ZardoZap's formula is so important to the BE community is this issue - if it can help predict the Cl with some measure of accuracy, it can prevent you from going too far over the Cl 70 to sample.

Making top BE pets is not always about spending every experimentation point to max every possible stat. If there were a cap on what we could make as a maximum pet, it would simply be a matter of 5 top-end samples and experiment all you can. Often the best pets are ones with vulnerabilities, lower damage, or other trade offs, because the resulting pet has the specific strengths most needed in exchange for those trade-offs, and does the one job we want it for the best.

Sorry to see you waste the DNA, especially with the difficulty of sampling mutants at present, the aggro behavior has definitely been strange of late, but at least you know that it's possible to make a good one.

Where might I find this formula, I don't recall reading it on the boards, maybe I just missed it?

This is exactly why I always thought raising the sampling cap was a bad idea. It assumes that the cap isn't there to help reduce just this. Remove the cap and you'll see a lot more posts like this.
