Why does Jawa Beer help you mask your scent? By all accounts the "disgusting little creatures" smell really, really bad =)

They smell really bad because they are all sloshed on Jawa Beer. But since it is organic, it is soothing to agressive animals.

it might make you smell like a dirty jawa... and even kreetles don't eat a jawa more than once. indigestion, I suppose.
so it might not make you less smelly... but it makes you smell less like food, perhaps.
not that REAL examples count for much (nor should they), but some local tricks for masking your scent include:
putting all your gear in a trash bag filled with dirt and leaf litter... and leaving them there all year, when you're not wearing them.
treating all your gear with smoke from a campfire (this doesn't work on critters that have linked the smell of smoke with a fear of humans).
crushing 'skunk cabbage' (it's a pretty pungent swamp plant, local at least to the appalachian forests) into your clothes. your overall stink increases, but the NATURE of your stink becomes natural, rather than human.
