Thread: Change in DNA sampling or just a bad night?

I'm out taking dna samples this evening, and i'm noticing that i can sample a creature once, but after that i keep getting fails, one after the other. Was there a change in how we're able to sample DNA since i last did this a month or two ago or am i just having a really bad night?

It seems to depend on the creature... I managed to get 14 samples from the same creature before it died. Then I sampled a savageGulf Drog and I usually only get one or two samples before they attack me.

Nothing changed but the "randomness" of dna sampling has always been borked, if you fail generaly you will fail agian and agian, just like you can succeded agian and agian
I've had days, sometimes weeks without failing a sample, and I've had days were I've gone 0-20 before giving up

Just randomness I think. A few days ago I went to Endor for Merek Harvesters, I think I had around half to two third success rate. Then I needed a couple of Nightspider samples on Naboo, it took me seven tries to get two samples.

sometimes I do fine, mutant rancors included...

anyone notice if their sampling rate was better with BE clothing and Jawa Beer....even on the low level stuff?

Happened to me once, over and over. Then I realized my inventory was full.

Damn, I did that last night with Mutant Rancors lol. For about 30 min I thought it was just bad luck.
