hi all,

Just spent 2 hours thrashing around on Endor on Bria server looking for Gurrecks.

Now, I dont mean "cowardly gurrecks" or "hilltop gurrecks", just the plain vanilla "Gurrecks".

plenty of the other types around, but not a single plain Gurreck in sight !

HOURS !!!

Im even a novice Ranger to make these things a "little" easier, but then if they aint there, you cant track em.

And since Endor is so quiet these days I cant get a group organised to score a target from the mission terminal.

So... Im wondering if anyone on Bria can post up the co-ords for a recent sighting for a Gurreck.

Or even an area where theyre "usually" seen.

I want to sample them, and, if possible, tame one.

Alternately mail me a waypoint in the game to Shrander.

I start at the smugglers outpost, then go due north to the big wall but do not go up. Turn left and roam along about 100m away from the base of the wall. Usually will find one along there all by its lonesome or maybe if lucky with a friend.

Gurrecks are really hard to find. I spent 2 days looking for one once on Intrepid. someone on these very boards told me that there are certain creatures which go "in season" and "out of season". What this means is that on some days you will not find a Gurreck and on others you will find 20. Whether or not this is true, I do not know, but it sure seems like it. Unfortunately, it always seems that when you're looking for em, you can't find em and when you don't need them, you find hundreds. As Clade said, north is a good place to find them, however, I tend to run across them a lot to the hills to the west of the Smugglers outpost while I'm looking for Bark Mite Burrower Queens

One thing that really helped me was the 4 or so waypoints on SWGcreatures.com, I use those and find Gurrecks pretty much whenever I need them by riding around the area between the waypoints. Got super lucky one day and just happened across a baby, but I haven't found another baby since then.

Thanks for the replies, gald to know it wasnt just me :/

Anyway, i was heading out from the smuggler o/post last night, and what do I see ? a damn gurreck !

so I poached its spawn point for an hour or so and took about 30 samples of him.

That should keep me going for a while

No babies to tame unfortunately.

I like the tip about heading to the "wall" then traversing, Ill try that next time.
