Thread: Noob Question Regarding A Pet

/bow To all the experienced MBEs in this forum. I am an ignorant Novice BE that is seeking enlightenment from veteran/experienced MBEs that are endowed with the knowledge of pet manufacturing.
I am a veteran CH who decided to take my alt all the way to MBE, currently grinding it out.
I've got a gurreck that's got some of my oldest BE friends on my server completely stumped, and anyone willing to take a look at it might answer this question for me....(and I apologize in advance if this kind of question gets asked all the time on this forum)....
...any educated guess as to what on earth sampled such a powerful pet? I'm sure there are others out there like it, but this one is really really great, the work of an excellent MBE who no longerplays (otherwise I would've asked him). I paid dearly for this pet, too. 750K.

Additional info not in the screenshot: CL69, 540-550 max dmg, Strong Poison and Dizzy Strike (12K HAM in the upper right hand corner). Guesses have included Arachne queen and bull ranc DNA, but I thought I would get any opinions (which would be greatly appreciated) as to what this beast could have been made from. The reason why...I want to make more like her. This gurreck has fought any creature you can think of in the game except Krayts, Kimos and Peko Peko Albatrosses, and has never been incapped, even when I've been killed and had to rush back from the cloning facility to make sure she's ok. I even set her loose on the Bloodrazer POI once, got killed, and when I came back she was still fighting her tailbone off.
To be able to make more pets like this would be awesome, I am really looking forward to mastery of the BE profession. Again, any opinions (or links for ignorant noobs like me :smileytongue

Meh, tbh you only need level 69s/70s for pulling high missions and the stats are really quite unimportant. I think tbh you could have made made a pet with the same dmg, specials but with more kinetic/energy resistance at a much lower level.
I never liked making high levels and tbh quite a lot of the pets I made were "low" level armouredtanks like CL20 with 60% kinetic / AR1 / 200 dmg.

Well, first off, this to me is kind of a pedestrian CL 70ish critter. Nothing real exceptional about it. The damage is low, the HAM is low, and the kinetic resist is low, and it's only real strength is that it has no vulnerabilities anda useful poison special.
But anyway, if I were guessing, I'd say it was a mixture of certainly mutant rancor, and then the rest could be rancor youth, bull rancor, and something with no vulnerabilities to give the poison, maybe something like giant crystal snake or merek death's head.

At first guess I'd say MR - NSER - MR -MR - HVL
MR = Mutant Rancor
NSER = Nightsister Enraged Rancor
HVL = Horned Voritor Lizard
With a VHQ sample in the psych slot.
Not sure about the stun resist. HVL as stun vlun. Could be there was NSER in the Mental slot too. I haven't seen a NSER in a long long long time. Maybe even longer than that.
Nice pet. If those are selling for 750k I should switch servers. I’d be a bazzilionaire by now.

Yeah, I can see why you like it, the 91% Cold is awsome, boy I can't count how many timesthat has saved me agains ER's.

I was under the impression all creatures do kinetic only. So Enraged Rancors do cold as well?????
