I have decided to go Master BE/Master CH/Pistoleer 0/0/4/0 on my Rodian character. This means that I will not be able to have a vendor and will always have to rely on the bazaar or word of mouth to sell anything. I am not looking to get rich, but with the current state of the economy, you have to have a decent supply of money to survive it seems. Are there any BE's out there without vendors that have found viable ways to sell their goods?
I would appreciate any advice on this matter. I got lucky and made a little money on a meat collecting venture when I started, but that won't last forever.....or even much past next week at the rate I am going
Thanks,
Murloch

Trade forums. I had a BE vendor but tbh I didn't use it much for tissues. I did all my chef tissues via mail order and I made a fortune.

All I use my vendor for is storage.
I deliver all my tissues to the customer's vendor.
The customer seems to appreciate that, no one wants to make multiple trips to/from a vendor, but I really don't mind. Especially for the millions

I did the exact same thing and one chef was nice enough to give me some free parwan nutricake back when it was being discovered.

if it helps you:
stocking a vendor means:
make a factory run of EVERYTHING.
see what sells.
TRY to keep up with the demand for that particular item.
find out that sales were a spike, and a DIFFERENT item is really in demand.
try to keep up with the demand for THAT particular item.
repeat ad nauseaum.
if you're hell-bent on creds:
introduce yourself to a chef/tailor.
ask them what they need.
negotiate.
find in-house (guild or friends or crafters) supplies for resources, and harvest what you can on your own.
harvest, craft, and deliver.
continue to deliver.
repeat.
