Ok, I really know nothing about BE, but I think it will be my next profession though, as it fits my template with scout and MCH. And it looks like fun 
....
....Question: Is it possible to make a level 60+ Durni ? I would love to have one, just for fun.....i have seen very high level vir-vurs, so I would expect this to be possible too....

The skin/creature you chose to create a clone of in no known way affects its CL. Only thedonors' DNA-sample do. That is, the final stats on the DNA-template after experimentation (and assembly).

So, in theory, with the correct dna, and a bit of luck , you would be able to create a 11K durni .... high resist,good attackspeed and base to hit ..and 2 specials ?

It's a shame the rats aren't engineerable ..... i just love those little rats ...

That said, someone said the skin doesn't have anything to do with the CL. Mostly true. The skin will determine the minimum level for the creature. The max is only limited by the DNA samples used to create it.

We all have made stuff like that for some reason, and for some reason most of us have made rancors from nuna dna... it's just something you have to do.. it's fun to watch a kimo get capped by krettles. But they are not very practical in use the little gnort is slow and is a pain to have follow... the best use for it is to sit out side of eisley and taunt nOObs when they get capped by mound mites or something, heal em and say mind if my little bunny gives it a shot and the little fur ball decimates the lair in seconds. and then laugh and leave. It's something to do, I don't recomend often... but some thing to do none the less... something much more gratifying is walking up to an ST target him and typing this:

That is some good times.
