I know most of you have read various sites for info about pets, but they aren't very up to date, most don't have pictures, and most only show the common found ones. i was think of starting a sitecontaining onlypictures along with the planet for those rare creatures, even the non-tamable ones. I've run across many CL 135 creatures lately on endor,dathomir, and dantooine and haven't seen very much talk of them and no websites contain info about them. What do ya think? Would it be worth it? I'm a creature lover and seeing those mighty beast out in the wild adds some fun to the game for me.

Not a bad idea... although without the ability for other people to submit stats/pics you are creating one hell of a job for yourself.

If you allow people to submit, how do you intend to control the size and quality of pics?

I've got a database (see sig) of tamable pets only. I was thinking adding the ability to upload pics... but unless I manually edit/resize/reduce KB of each submission, I could end up with nasty records that downloaded 2Mb bitmaps.

(ImageMagik is a solution I suppose)

Currently it is very easy to add and update information on creatures. I am in the process of also adding image uploads. With a little help from other CH's, the creature listings here can be kept up to date and accurate.
