You can use it in the Organic slot, but I'd use wood instead ... there are other schematics to use the hide in, and with 30 types of wood on your server at a time, odds are SOME is going to be as good or better ... personally, I'm harvesting 990 OQ wood right now, and in quantities that are FAR beyond what you'll see for hide...

You can use it in the organic slot however like it has already been said, you should use wood as it is easier to come by and cheaper. It cannot be used in the creature food slot as that can only take meat, milk and eggs.

I prefer to use hide myself, I have never been able to forage enough wood to do an entire run before the resource qualities change.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

You CAN use hide, but it's not recommended. There's nothin like getting a mouth full of fur when trying to take a sip of brandy. It gets between your teeth and then... what a mess.

That is the other problem I have with foraging wood... all the damdge my Composit gloves take from the splinter and sliver jabbings (splinters cause damadge slivers cause wounds and BF) most slivers on tat are AP2 man I hate that, I think they are missing some important aspects of the Combat reblance.
