I have been a Master Bounty Hunter, Master Oikeman and Master Carbineer and Jeeeeedey Knight

I had an easy life for a while as a fencer, doctor and weaponsmith, but I have decided to return to my love of all that is broken and abused a friends account (he is taking a break) to make a Master BE and I am going to couple that with Master Creature Handler (yes - I loven broken proffesssions so much I will make a totally broken toon =p )

Anyways... having mastered BE (mostly to make Monsters and their stims), I am lost... Pet crafting is INSANE!!! I would love to make me some CL10 oets to sell, but it seems I have to avoid spending too many of my experimentation points to do so!!!

Anyway... does ANYBODY have any nice pointers to give me?

As I understand, you people are against the chefs having BE alts, but my main is a WS who supports my Jeeeedy. BE/CH is for Crazy fun =P (I am tempted to give my master doc buffbot some Master Chef action though, just so I can support the BE )

I think there's something interesting about the idea of a chef alt for a BE ... it's just such a turnaround.

Pointers:

- Get LOADS of DNA.

- Begin crafting templates.

- Create 'test' pets - i.e. create pets with only one line of experimentation, changing the line you experiment on each time.

- Create a durni (best skin ever)

- Name the pet with the line you experimented on.

Basically what you are doing is seeing how each line effects the final product. Eventually you will get ahold of the experimentation system. You will learn, eventually you will pick up tricks.

I might be crazy, but I find myself in agreement with most of what Zadokk said. The two notable exceptions would be the durni and he left out the standard lvl10 recipe that's listed in the FAQ.

In place of the durni I'd make gnorts. I believe they take less resources.

(And you thought I was gonna say squall. HA!)

the plus side to making gnorts is that you can feed them to ravenous, uber, CL70 cyber-durni when you figure how to make them that good I'm sure it will be glad to have a change from all those worthless squalls youfindyourselffeeding it.

I made an ubergnort for a friend once. They are painfully slow, but it didn't matter. It was worth it just to see him biting rancors on the toe.

We didn't get to watch him bring downthe graul mauler. Our eyes were full of tears from laughing so hard.

He had strong poison and strong disease. Although I never got to see him in PvP (my friend eventually gave up CH), even getting deathblown might have been worth it just to see the surprise at the grief that little guy caused. I'd have loved to see him nibble on an AV-21, but he retired before they came out.

Broken templates sound wonderful.

I'd love to be a Master BE/Master Ranger/MCH/Master Smuggler.

With more skill points than the law allows, I'd still be a constantly broke 95 pound weakling.
