Thread: A proposal that might affect us

It's a good idea as long as you have the lots which is why people use vendors. They don't take up any lot space.


I like the idea of different structures simply for the sim-city nature the new structures take. Right now players cities have very little personality when it comes to style.

Following through with the format TH gave for submitting proposals, I submitted a suggestion for changes in the architect tree. These don't even qualify as "in concept" yet, but might be worth a peek.

Of course you are right about the vendors. It really doesn't solve the vendor problem (which I listed as one of the "bad" points.) However, it the hope is that it will help alleviate some of the factory problem, and perhaps result in a little more streamlined game performance. The storage sheds store a little more per lot than a factory input hopper, but still less than a factory if you count the factory's output hopper.


And, perhaps, it would give BE's a friendlier interface than having to examine every DNA sample even to identify species.


A little off topic: is anyone else shocked at the size of the DNA? DNA is relatively stable, chemically. Even a liquid nitrogen cryocontainer is smaller than our samples are. An entire cDNA library could fit in something smaller.
