Hi, I'm an MCH on flurry and I was wondering if anyone had any recipes/pets that they know of that offer light armor high kinetic and high blast resists. I know Toxic Merek Battlelords are good with light armor 40% kinetic and 60% blast, I was wondering if anyone had Bio-Engineered something with better stats in those two resists ?

don't know about a recipe never needed this one. But you could try Insane mantigrue beserker, frenzied/ancient graul. They all have light armor in combination with kinetic/blast resistance.

doesn't sound too rough, and could probably be done all on endor.
offhand, I'd start with toxic merek battlelord and lowbie jax.
I'd probably throw in a merek harvester to bump the kinetic rating.
if I screwed around with it for a while, I'd say AR1 k60 blast40%ish could pop out with a first gen of 30.
getting it down to triplet range would take multigen sampling, but... CL23 is possible.
the HAM and damage for this will have a big effect on the final CL, but if you can sacrifice those, CL shouldn't be a problem.

The difficult part is finding good blast resist samples with high enough fortitude to get AR1 to stick with the lower powered DNA with fortitude around 300 you'll probably want to stick in slots 3-4-5. (Surefoot brackaset, I'm thinking...). There's very little with fortitude north of 600 and very good blast resists.
This is a Nightsister tank, isn't it?

better grab some stun resists. those elders like the stunbats.
I've been trying to figger out what this WOULD be good for... and if THAT's the target... add stun and intimidate at least.

Would probably be handy to have two CL35 pets with some combo of stun, intimidate, knockdown (or cripple), and dizzy.
It would be significantly easier to make an AR1 high kinetic/stun resist pet in the CL 35 area. As it is, I think you're looking at serious multi-gen work to get the CL in a useful area.

The creatures i listed all have those things
Though most are high level, so I would pick a low level in the mental/pschy. Also be sure to check the seething nol crusher if you've got some fortitude points to spare.

A few comments:
What recipe you use would be entirely dependent on what CL you need. 5x Frenzied Graul would get you a fantastic tank with armor, 90% blast and 60% energy. Making such a creature should be possible at between CL 35-50 or so without having to introduce other dna that would reduce those resistances.
I have my doubts that you could get a creature with anything close to those numbers at CL 23 or less. Feel free to prove me wrong, but I don't see it happening.
Merek harvester in such a combine would be a bad idea, considering they have miserable blast resistance (5%), so that would need to be ruled out immediately.

GRENADES.
makes more sense now.
blooming jax has kin, energy, and blast, and the vulns and low level can take the CL down.
toxic merek battlelord looks like a decent start... and the merek harvester can bump the kinetic up (if tanking is more important than resisting the grenade damage).

might be worth trying for a single generation endor-only DNA run at about CL mid30. at MCH, you ought to be able to field a pair.
alternatively...
mantigrue reaper, ancient graul, frenzied graul... all have significant blast resists (and light armor).

elder gronda might be ok in slot 3/4, 60% kin 80% blast....no armor but lower CL than the other pets, might help bring down the CL. You'll probably have to multi-gen it to get it to the level you want, though.

I wasn't thinking of using it for nightsisters, I was thinking that a good kinetic/blast tank would be cool for force xp grind. Use it to attack lair, then when the extra mobs spawn and attack I could chuck grenades from a distance without the grenades wasting my armor (I'm a wookiee armor costs loads for us :smileysad
