I don't watch this board so this question may be old, but lately I have begun using food more and have been plagued by bugs. Some are so bad that I have to have a CSR come and restore my character. There seems to be no rhyme of reason to it.

The stats on your character sheet have 2 numbers like this 500/500. The first number is the actual stat and the second is the total possible. Sometimes the food will change the 2nd number (the total possible) without changing the 1st. Now in the case of the pool stats (Health/Action/Mind) this is not a problem because these stats are regenerative, and the actual stat will slowly climb to the higher number. In the case of the the sub stats like Will Power for example. There is no remedy. The actual stat stays the same. With the total stat rising. Somthing like this: 500/750.

Whats even worse is that when the food or drink wears off the 250 I was supposed to gain is subtracted from the actual stat. somthing like this: 250/500. So I end up gaining no benefit and am acutually worse off when the food wears off.

I have sent in repeated bug reports about this, and I can see how this would hamstring your profession making money.

Has this been addressed and is there a fix on the way?

This is the developers' attempt to make Chef a viable PvP profession. Look for an implemented /forcefeed option with the next patch.

lol beat me to the thing i was going to mention ...was going to say that you should check with the chefs that you buy your stuff from and make sure they're up to "code"

I feel for ya NancyJ...food poisoning is the worst. I got it several years ago on someoutdatedArmy rations my squad and I ate in thefield.We werepretty darn miserable and the supply sergeant was severely reprimanded for his lack of attention to detail.

It wasn't the Dath carnivore meat.....It was the raw Mon Cal that the rancor ate....
