Thread: Tailor pricing problem with intermediate level bioengineered clothes
One of my friends is leveling up bioengineering, and I was helping him out by sticking his grind-tissues in clothes and not pricing them very high so they would sell. Figure - better sell them cheaply than destroy them in practice mode.
Now he's hit tissues 3 and I'm not comfortable with just a rough-justice pricing, as I was with a +2 tissue. I realize that the higher level tissues take more and better components - and are more valuable - therefore a +4 would not be double the price of a +2 tissue. I don't want to just do a rough Xcpu calculation since I have little knowledge of bioengineering, and my friend seems not to care about receiving money at all (but he will anyway!) I was wondering if there was a website out there that could help with this pricing dilemma - at least an example of how a "ramped up" pricing scheme would work, so I could see the ratios. The high-end tissue prices are set by the server, but the mid-range ones are never discussed.
I apologize if this thread has been asked and answered before - I have tried searching the boards for the answer before bothering you.
your server forum is a better place for this question because it varies greatly from server to server (or the tailor forum cause they are the ones who actually sell the enhanced clothes). the higher level tissues only cost about 15-25 more resources so doing Xcpu doesnt give the market much credit.i have read tailors pricing enhanced clothes 150-200 per point of enhancement if you want some kind of rough area to start from. you really should feel out the market first though.
