Master armoursmith here what are your views on being able to sellreinforced fiber panels and syntheticclothto us for our armour. Sadly in my case I quit playing for the first 2 days of the patch (mount insanity) being live and missed out on buying panels and cloth. Of course those few suits of armour with like 50+ to bleed defence are going for a pretty penny at the momentafter they removed the "bug". I wish I had known it was a bug and not a stelth fix and I would have made some for my best customers .

There was a lot of talking over at the armoursmith fourm by tailorsbut I did not see any BE's giving there ideas. so I decided to ask here.

1. Do any BE think they should put it back the way it was or do you think armour with stats already and sockets to boot is overpowered?

2. From what I have read on this forum you seem towant some more ways tobea needed professionthen being a pet vet.

I have to agree that it's overpowered, bleeding defence AND the usual kind of defences is too much. If armor was limited to skill enhancement tissues then I'd say it's worth considering but certainly not a good idea for the defence tissues.

More ways yes, but there's also the fact that not every idea is a good one from a balance point of view. It might be 'cool' but it might not make for good gameplay in the long run.

first of all, the suits dont have more than +25 to any skill. i read a post "man, i couldve had +300 injury and wound treatment". no you couldnt. there is a display bug that makes it look like you are getting a higher bonus than you are, 25 is the cap.

that said, 25 is a lot (1/4 of master). the suits are overpowered and have almost 3x the enhancement slots any clothing outfit does. my friend and i made several advanced comp suits full of enhancements we knew all the caps, so we maxedthem out perfectly and theres no way to argue that they arent VERY overpowered.

i read a post asking for new and different tissues specifically for armor and that is a great idea imo, butthey would have to be very small bonuses and there would have to be 1-2 slots max in a suit and on main peices only, instead of 19 in any peice (+25 injury and wound treatment AND +18 stun AND +4 melee in a set of gloves is ridiculous).

1 - Very overpowered. Market-stealing from Tailors, as well. Imagine tailored clothes with armor layers...

2 - Most of us would be happy if our current goods were fixed. New products at this point just undermines that which we already have and want corrected. Something for armor might be nice in the future, but it should not be the same as tissues for clothing.

Dont need a bug to feel needed kk Thx - If they want to fix us fine, but I would prefer they planned it. Personally I didnt make anything for Armorsmiths I figured it was a bug and if you dont change your ways to accomodate such a thing then you dont miss it when its not around.

Considering our chef tissues are worthless, I'd love to see them replaced with armorsmith or weaponsmith tissues, u know, ones that will actually have use. biwan:

like i said i agree with the idea of armor tissues, but i do not the idea of putting the bug back in as a feature. if the armor tissues were something like "strength enhancement - slightly reduced health encumbrance" or stuff like that, im all for it. these maxxed out +25 x 6 bonus suits are not good business though.

I think they should give Armorsmiths the ability to add BE tissues to armor the same day they allow tailors to add kinetic and other resists to clothing. Until then... enjoy what you got and please for god sakes stop all the sniveling.
