Thread: Im just passing through. How long does smapling tree take to grind?
I wont take business away from you, dont plan on making one clone. Just curious on what to expect.
thanks
Well I am in day 4 four sample tree and I amnow atDNA Sampling 3. I have not devoted my time fully to sampling but when plan on heavy sampling I take 2 crates of Muen Gold with me and have spend about 2 or 3 hours running around Endor (mainly because my house is near Theed, only one shuttle trip... otherwise I would choose Dantooine like everyone else). Blurggs, Bolle Bol Stompers and anything else that doesn't have deathblows gets sampled. Usually all creatures give between 250-450xp per sample.
Like one of the guides said, when the Muen wears off, I camp and craft the DNA templates from the samples. And since I also am leveling CH a bit I make something I can tame and teach for extra CH xp.

What were you sampling?
I started with humbabas and sharnaffs on corellia for DNA I and most of II. Eventually moved to seething bol crushers and pickets on dantooine to finish up. Course, I guess I probably should have qualified my statement by saying that I did it pre-patch
Well im almost Sampling 4 now and I can tell you this, the first 2 boxes for me were rough in the respect that they went really slow. Once you hit box 2 its a lot nice then 1 and once you hit box 3, its really nice, worlds better then box 1. In my case I'll actually get through the 80k box 4 much faster then box 1 and 2 becuase your so much more successful.
First... while I like advancing, I don't like actually *doing* the advancement. I'm happy when I hit master, but I find nothing fun about the road to get there. Personally, i like to get all the advancement out of the way, so I'm where I want to be and can just kick back and actually enjoy the profession itself. But that's me. I din't need the advancement to motivate me to enjoy the profession.
Second... I hate turning people away because they want something I can't do yet. Especially in BE, where there's a darn good chance they *won't* be finding a Master to do it for them any time soon if i can't do it. It makes me sad to have to tell people that.
