They replicated Bria on Test Center, complete with the new big January update, so I'm writing up a report on what I saw/did.
I logged in Visual and collected Voriter Dasher DNA and yard trash, combined it like I usually do and got a 4k health Level 10 hermit spider. I then tamed the Spider successfully (I don't have any CH skills) without errors, or nerf messages, or a demand to re-do his stats or raise his level. So your 3k-5k pets you're currently creating will survive the patch.
I also created my usual level 22 CH with light armor and 60% kenetic successfully and trained him using my Master CH character. No nerf messages for this type pet either.
My Master CH character on Test Center summoned his old Level 0 (1) Gurreck. He's still level 0, and you can still summon him in addition to another level 50 creature. I thought they fixed this?
I don't have an old bugged pet (Nocous DNA) to play with, so I cannot report if they work or not. However the Non-CH pets that have 4k-5k health are perfectly fine still, no nerfs.
I'll be happy to login and summon my 4k pet, and my 5k one for any doubters. Both were created under an hour ago using fresh DNA.

I had two invalid pts on TC-Briawhen I checked just now.
Kaadu, level 11: 2580\1521\1432; K17, En19, B12, H51, CV, El12, AV, SV 40-45 dmg, blind/stun/ranged.
The system was unable to adjust stats, so it releveled it to 13.
Gurrcat, level 7: 5865/2975/1737; K22, E22, B22, HV, C22, EL22, AV, SV 120-130 dmg, stun.
System was also unable to adjust stats down, so it leveled it up 10 levels to 17.

It must be adjusting it based upon resists and not HAM?
Why is my 5k health pet ok, but your 2.5k one is not? My non-ch pet has 14% kenetic and vulnerable to most everything else.

I would like just one hint from the dev's on whats acceptable. I know im asking a lot but it would make life a lot easier for us. Not even an exact formula justa small hint.

Vis and Kevie, you're both probably right. That 2500H pet only had two vuls, and a Heat resist over 50%. Plus having Kinetic and Energy resists (especially both over a certain %?) has shown preliminarily to push CL up.

It looks to me that the patch is taking more than HAM into account for the total CL. If the Ham is high but it only has a few resists (IE two at 10% or less...the rest vuln) and the attack numbers are low then it still can get into the CL10 range. THe only thing that doesn't apppear to directly effect CL is the specials/ranged.

Yes i saw 2 people last night with those 0 (1) pets and huge HAM. I find it irritating because they then look at my pet like it's some piece of crap. And it costs me business. This better get fixed

Here is what I want to know. Has anyone chosen to lower the stats to level 10? If so, what was the adjustment? I'd like to see a before and after of this if anyone has it.
Thanks!
