I was testing my Bio-Engineer calculator last night using Sumo's formulas. I found that my numbers in game were way lower then what the calculator told me. Are those numbers created with the formula the maximum numbers you can get with experimentation or have the formulas changed since the BE fix? For instance:
Three Venom Filled Arachnie and two flesh eating Chuba in Fierceness and Power
Fierceness: 273,272, 177, 177, 272
Power: 375, 375, 52, 53, 374
With the calculater I got:
Fierceness: 248
Power: 293
In game I got before experimentation:
Fierceness: 93
Power: 112
My Calculater figures out Fierceness and Power like this for the numbers above:
(17%*273)+(16%*272)+(8.5%*177)+(16.5%*177)+(42%*272) = 248
(17%*375)+(16%*375)+(8.5%*52)+(16.5%*53)+(42%*374) = 293
So how did I get 93 and 112? So I looked at the percentages in the experimentation window for Aggression and I saw 12% and tried to see if that 12% had something to do with the differences in the numbers the calculator told me I should get and the number I actually got and I couldn't find any correlation at all. I mean 12% of 248 is defiantly not 93.
Can someone please explain to me why this is? Have the formule changed or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Hi Albion,
Sumorex's number are for the potential. They will tell you the highest value (approximatly) you can get for that value with the given DNA. The lower values you seeing seem be generated as a random percentage of the potential. In my experience they usually fall between 60% and 85% of potential. I will see this level of variation even with a single template,so it seemsto not be closely ties to quality of materials. Both of yours are falling between 35% and 40%, so I'm not sure what to tell you. My best guess is that this is somehow related to our relative levels of techniques (Or possibly DNA quality). However the end result is that there does not seem to be a good predictor for how much below potential the template is going to be for any given characteristic.
