Greetings one and all,
I have been a fellow player since day 2 and normally just read the forums and not respond but I feel that some positiveness is needed. : )
I was an MCH a ways back and so I can talk from both perspectives.
MCH was a boat-load of fun.
It may have changed but with good and bad points aside I suggest we start a DNA Database.
Info to post.....
1) DNA Type (animal type)
2) DNA Quality
3) General strengths and weaknesses of specific dna
4) Slots to use certain dna, ie... which is more suited to be placed in which based on tried and true testing based on all your hard work
5) Any usefull info that you are willing to share
Lets keep it clean and simple.... imformative and positive
and Thanks in advance for your contribution

Seems to have gone down, probably a problem with the server. It is an independant site afterall and when you own a domain as an induvidual you find that getting reliable service from a domain provider isn't that straight forwards.

Yeah, seems my providers is having 'a temporary network outage' with no ETA on when it'll be back up. Hopefully it'll be back up soon as it's been down about 6 hours so far today.

Whats stopping us having a DNA list here as well. Then if they are down we have a database to refer to.
Just a thought......

Hey Juntao ...
I was looking for some DNA on your site and I was wondering if it would be possible to get a DNA listing instead of a creature stat listing when I'm looking for specific DNA ... or if we could have the average DNA added as an option if we want in the report ...
Is it possible?

I'm fairly sure he added a dna search engine actually, I did it when I found the boarwolf is listed with incorrect fortitude. You might want to think about getting a new DNS provider there Jun, whenever I have started getting blackouts in service like that it's usually a sign that the company you're with isn't doing so well and could go belly up on you. I've had that happen to me twice and run off with several months of my subscription without a refund.

AyaOnane-
Something like that is on my to do list. Several have asked for DNA of sorts to be available in the search listing so I'm going to try to get that implemented as optional output enabled through the user profile.
A good question is what would you like to see displayed? With only 1 line available for each listing, I don't know if I should put the AVG for each stat in the highest quality samples entered or if maybe I should just put the max stat no matter the quality.

Yeah, honestly I was a bit concerned when the DNS was down for the better part of a day, but I've used this hosting provider for several years with other sites and usually have had pretty good performance.
I'll be keeping an eye on them for sure!

Personally, I'd rather see the average stats than a max .. we're more likely to get closer to the average stats than max.
I'd say put the average of the highest quality of DNA that you have for that creature .. and add a field that says how high that is so we can guage it.
There's SO much data in DNA that I don't think there's anything that's 100% unless you can give a report with all of averages for each quality of DNA for each creature .. but that's a lot to put in a report!
