Is it true that if I BE a pet that - when tamed - would be "Aggressive: Yes", a Non-CH cannot use it?

I've had a problem with a customer with Huurtons and - as a non CH - he can't use them. This is the first I've heard of this, and I'm pretty sure I've given/sold Huurtons to non-CH and they've been fine (although I'm "pretty" sure, not 100%)

If this is the case, that's fine (I suppose), but why doesn't this show up on the BE pet when it's in the "deed" or "pre-trained" state? You know, so people can actually see if they can use what they're buying?
