Thread: Best non-ch pets after nerfage?
1st gen - Voritor Dasher/ Huurton Pup/ Huurton Pup/ Voritor Dasher/Huurton Pup
3 or 4 points in physique, 1 in prowess and you might squeeze in one on mind then
Sample 3 DNA from it
Voritor Dasher/ 1st gen/1st gen/1st gen/ huurton pup
Max out physique and then put a point into prowess and a point into mental - you MBE's might have more points and you might get some more HAM out of it - I'm not sure
and thats about it should turn out CL 10 roughly 5.5k/3.5k/2k HAM with 10-15 kinetic and blast resist and maybe dizzy or ranged
Considering I've been a BE since oh August I'd say I have a little more experience with the profession than you do.
I'm not asking for a cookie cutter system. I'm asking for parameters that make sense. Explain to me in all your wisdom why a 2K HAM animal is not valid and a 6K HAM animal is? I doubt the BE dev can even explain that one which is my point to begin with.
I pulled this from another thread;
Some people think its HAM, some say resists, some think its damage. These animals are all across the board and are still valid. Tell me that a wild animal with nearly 9K health, 58% kinetic and does 90 damage is going to be a CL9.
Don't get me wrong, I can make these animals as well. Its not that I'm upset about crafting them. The issue I have is the parameters. I can spend lots of time crafting a nice "legal" CL10 animal just to find out its invalid. I can also make an animal I would think is invalid and its not. We can't even adjust the stats to make those animals becomevalid. Only the critter level adjust works. All I'm asking for is a bandwidth to work within, not this willy nilly shot in the dark crap we have to work with now.
Tell me that a wild animal with nearly 9K health, 58% kinetic and does 90 damage is going to be a CL9.
Well crap! There goes my theory...again.
Yeah, I don't see how the heck that can be considered a legal pet and yours not.
C'mon Devs....you NEED to respond to this sort of issue. WHAT is valid anymore? With the exception of not having all resists and damage of 350-400, the above pet is in the same range as those that were deemed illegal nonch pets.
I agree, I don't want it laid out on a platter telling me exactly how to do the work....what I want though is a boundary line, and one that is consistant. Highest HAM, damage, and resists that a nonch pet can have. Period. It should still be a lot of work to make one but at least we don't have the irritation of making something that we feel is an awesome nonCH pet.....then come here and someone else has the above type of creature which we could have sworn would have been deemed illegal.
