Chef additives
First off, all the schematics for the chef additives have an optional slot for "Secret research data." Not sure exactly what these will do, but from the information posted on the Chef board a while ago, these will be drops we'll use these to further enhance the additives when making them. Additives fall into three categories, light, medium, and heavy. There are four types of additive that, I gather, give a bonus to that line of experimentation for chefs - mass, flavor, nutritional and food replicating. I'm not quite sure which type affects which experimantation line yet.Replicatingdoes say it helps produce larger batches, and I assume mass determines how filling a food is. I assume Flavor and nutritional are effect and duration, but not sure which is which. Now the schematics (note - these are the current TC numbers and should not neccesarily be considered final) -

Btw, made a pet tonight and had Vertexon tame it for me. The specials still don't show on the examine window for me once tamed, but they did show for him in the datapad.

they show on live, so that isn't any different. So, these are our schematics? Holy majoly. From the stuff you were able to make, did any of it display the numbers for the effects, like +50% duration or what ever.

Hmm, I thought these were still not showing in the datapad. My bad.

Now the question is... should I be stocking up on our current "pre-nerf" additives or kissing them bye-bye?

Thanks for the update Tal! The "Secret Research Data" thing sound interesting. There any info on what may go in that slot? (As in a resource like a certain type of "Wild Meat" or some special trophy drop like Armour/Weapon (Kryat, etc) has?)
"Intelligent Nanonutrients" I keep thinking of Lisa Simpsons science experiment when I see this

Oh and can see have some idea of just how much these enhance by please? If its less than 50% then the resources will STILL not justify the price, the typical item there is 2 organics with around 30 units each and one meat with around 30 units. Based on typical server prices thats going to come to around 480-500c per item! Do the devs know just how much meat usually costs?

Some samples of what we can make.
My Skill: Tissues II with Experiment II
Confirmed that Replicating = Quantity
Resources
-
Cereal: Domestic Wheat FL:326 PE:914 OQ:89 DR:518 -
Organic: Beans FL:141 PE:213 OQ:807 DR:378 -
Wild Meat FL:523 PE:987 OQ:510 DR:12
Hyper Yeast Addatives
- Unexperimented came out with a Quanity bonus of 104-ish.
- Doubled the quantity of the food
- A Quantity bonus of 135 increased the food quantity from 3 to 7 so it looks like it's +135% to the quantity.
Multisaccharide Dimate
- Unexperimented came out with a Flavor bonus of 10
- Added a little over 1min to a food with base 13min duration

Looks like the quantity ones are decent then, not sure about that duration one though. 1 minute additional seems a bit poor for something that normally lasts 13 mins.

I was also using not-great resources and no experimentation .. so it might be worthwhile after all ... but we'll have to see what the Masters can pull off.
