Thread: Schematic numbering?

How is the schematic number determined? I'm using a macro for BE grinding, which uses the constrictor cloth schematic (# 19 in my datapad), but from what I've been reading, this isn't necessarily the best tissue to use. However, if I try to change it, the numbering seems to be competely random. Is the numbering oragnised by name, type, icon or what? In fact, this schematic is not #19, however I sort them (I know you need to subtract 1 from the number). Is this a big mystery and I have to go through trial and error to get there?

That leads me to the next question, what is the best tissue to grind on, considering I've just hit Tissue Eng II?

Many thanks.

The numbering goes by the order in your datapad, but you have to skip schematics that can't be made with your specific tool that you are using. I have some ranger skills, so for me to find out the number I have to count from my target item to the beginning, skipping my tents and traps.

OK, that I can understand, but ordered by what criteria? Name, type, icon etc? Is it the default ordering when you log on?
