hey everyone. I am new to Bio-Engineering and was thinking it would be cool if we could Manipulate the size of our engineered creatures. I mean be able to make a rancor that has full grown stats but stays the size of a baby so you don't have a huge beast running around in caves and such.I mean if we can mess with all other DNA attributes we should be able to adjust our preferred size of the creature, This may have been talked about before. If so sorry about the post. If not how many of you fellow BE's would be interested in being able to do this?Maybe if enough people want this feature we could petition the devs or something, so any feed back is appreciated. thanks in advance

Agreed that would be interesting, but right now there's just too much other stuff to try to flag the devs down on.

Thats a great idea! Each creature could have a "range" of sizes according to the skin..

When I was a master BE, I found that my pets would come out quite bigger or smaller than normal..but I couldn't really make a connection between that and anything else. I once made a gnort out of mountain squills and a scyk for the hell of itand he was about as big as a wild massive gnort when full grown.
Edit (add-on): Crap..I forgot what I was gonna say..

You can only sample usable DNA from live animals, this horse is already dead...
It's a good fun idea, but might possibly take a back seat to a stable, working crafting system, or some identifiable standards for what constitutes a "valid" pet or a few more little issues that we need looked at as well.
I'll suffer with all my rancors being the same size in exchange for being able to actually complete 95% of my combines with a success as the devs insist is the "actual" rate now.
