What is the best creature to Sample DNA from to make a CH Tank?

I prefer to use the Bark Mite Burrower and BMM Queen from Endor.

Also, Frenzied and Ancient Grauls.

What's your favorite?

Goal is to make the best tank -light ARmor adn 60% Kinetic and dont care about level

I like King Merek harvesters & Merek Harvesters. Throw in some GVT or MDH DNA and you have a very nice tank.

If someone asks for a tank I take 5 frenzied graul samples, slap em together, experiment it up and I'm done. If they are a bit picky and ask for high energy resist then I take 5 bark mite burrower queen samples and slap those together.

merek harvesters...... who cares if they have energy vulnerability, that kinetic is so high, you're almost gauranteed to get the 60% cap on kinetic and have a very good chance of getting the armor to come through

Both frenzied grauls and bark mite burrower queens are garenteed to bring 60% kinetic and light armor through when you use 5 of them, and the final stats are much better, IMO.

And energy resist is very important, especially to CH's who will be using pets for faction missions and such. Kinetic, energy, acid and heat are the most important resists you can get into a pet that is used for PvE as that will cover 90% of the damage NPCs do.

Well my favorite tank is still the Mutant Rancor/Frenzied Graul combo get more HAM can't talk about a tanks without high HAM IMO.

Tank = 60% Kinetic and 13k+ HAM.

Young Malklok Plainswalkers - Nice because it also has 90% Stun on the final pet.

Merek Harvestors - Nice because have such high Fort, that you can mix in many different DNA's for wide selection of Specials

Barkmites and Frenzied are nice, but don't give 13k HAM

I made a really nice pet as my first non throw-away pet. I used slinking voritor hunter DNA and it came out CL46, 10k HAM, Light Armor with 45 kin 45 energy.

I got this from the forums, but MH, MH, BW, BW, MH exper to get armor and have cl 35 or less most times. you will have a 60 ken light armor pet and it is easy to get the dna and make. I gotanother forumla from here with volitor dna that has 60 ken and energy and armor, Ill post my results if they turn out well.

I have made for myself a few pets with different stats so I could use them in different situations for the tank side I have 1x CL67 Light amour 12k HAM 600dmg 60% Kin/Eng 20% rest, and when he gets tired or badly hurt 2x CL35 9K HAM 450dmg 60% kin light amour vulnerable to rest pets for general creature fighting, I made them from mainly Merek Harvester DNA and what ever DNA I wanted to get the special attacks and ranged attacks from, the MH was good because it was fairly easy to breed in other Vulnerabilities which is why its so powerful for its CL (well I think they are anyway

As for when I'm fighting NPC faction guys/girls I have made 2 other CL35ish pets with 9kHAM 35%kin 60%Eng Light amour with 350mg, made them from Gronda pack leader and whatever to get the specials.

Each of the pets I made for myself took a long time and effort to make as I only wanted the best and was especially hard to work in all the vulnerabilities and the special attacks but is so worth it when through all the critical failures and failing to get the right DNA from your 4th gen pet you have a set of pets, no partners that can help you through almost every situation (Yea I'm a MCH with a passion)

I also have 3 pets with about 8K HAM 60% Kin vulnerable to rest no amour and about 400dmg each with 2 different specials as backup pets when one of my friends is a TKA or has a very strong pet to basically cripple the big stuff we fight.
