Thread: resampling dna from untamed pets i just made

hi i am a master be on wanderhome and i made myself 10 cupa's from my left over prepatched samples i had ,i havnt made any pets since pub 5 so i tried to resample thier today and i get the message you cannot sample from that target or pet .before when i was making pets i could resample but now i cant ,can anyone help me on this plz and confirm that reampling or cloning has gone out the window ,been nerfed, or simply bugged atm .

ty for the reply .aye i kinda figured that all old dna would be nerfed like everything else is with every other crafter skill when there are patches it seems that the devs dont like us using up our stock but simply make it unusable and therefore cluttering up the data bases with useless items lol when will they learn ? i guess never. so all my time that i spent sampling mantigrue reapers and frenzied grauls was a complete waste of my game time ty devs i realy dont appreciate this lack of thought as far as pre patched items goes, and to the waste of our valuable time.

Well, there has been a bunch of rebalancing regarding creatures lately, so old DNA probably doesn't fit into the scheme of things anymore. To answer you're question, yes, you can currently resample post-publish pets that you have made.
