Thread: What is a good Petstim B?

My main reason for becoming a BE was to make good pets for myself and maybe the odd custom order. As a sideline, I was thinking of putting together some factory crates of Petstim Bs. Question is; what is a good Stim B? A guildie MD made me some nice 162 power ALS schematics and together with ABEC and ACRDM I made myself from so-so components, some good fibreplast and nice Fungi, I made a 709/29 Stim B and that's with only Expt III. I know with better ABEC, ACRDM and more expt point I can improve on this a lot, but what is the limit? Someone gave me half a crate of 859/34 B's, is that about what I should be aiming for?

All you need is a nice ABEC to produce some nice 750/35 petstims Bs. Don't bother with the other components.

Well, seeing as I have schematics to make 5500 ALS, I might as well use them.

Another point, how much would you charge? I was planning on effectiveness*charge/10. Is that fair? With maybe a 5% discount on crates?

My pet stim-B's usually end up with 900+ power and 31-32 charges. The best one I've ever made was 950 power but they usually end up about 910 power.

I sell them for 3000 each on my vendor on Chilastra, which is very close to what your formula works out to.

I sell my B stims primary in crate form on my vendor. I uses to get 800+ hela stims with the really bad Talusian fungus I had on hand and sold a crate of 50 for 80k. Now that I am doing 900+ heals I sell a crate of 50 for 100k, crates of 25 for 50k, and crates of 10 for 25k. The nonCH pet customers tend to go for the crates of 10. It works out to 2k per stim which is pretty good. Every factory run I also do a smaller run (jsut 2 crates usually) of stims with the loc of my vendor in the name of the stim. I sell these stims on the bazaar for 5k a stim and people still buy them. Some people will buy 4 or 5 stims a time off the bazaar. When I see that I usually email them to let them know they can get them for less then half that price if they buy from the vendor in crate form.

On Ahazi i sell those petstim Bs for 1800c. They sell like hotcakes plus I make quite a nice profit from them since I have a crap load of some good lokian wild wheat from around 4 months ago that I'm slowly working through to make the ABEC.

The ABECs I get from the resources currently available give me about 30 charges. Combined with ALS, ACRDM, 1000OQ Fiberplast, and 846OQ / 927PE Talus Fiber I get 900+ heal with 30 charges. My best was 952 heal, I have some 927s, some 944s, and others. I am waiting for some good LWW to get better ABEC.

I use the formula "(power * charges)/10" to sell mine but I only sell on the bazaar since I don't have a vendor. They sell better now since I've raised my divisor from 5 to 10.

Nice stats, normally I make around 650 power, TBH I havn't bothered working them higher cos they sell well at that level and makes my life easier ( use standard not advanced components ). I did notice a breif spawn of lowish quality Fungi did hit them bad though (more than the difference between a normal and advanced component) so IMO probably the most important bit is the level of fungi.

The most important bit is actually the components, you'll find that the majority of the time this is a trend which follows through with all crafting. The materials merely establish how much of the stats are drawn from the components.
