I have a friend who wants a cl19 meatshield. Damage output is not important just its ability to act as a meatshield in PvE (primarily against kinetic as we live on Dantooine and not much NPC energy fire there).

I'm 2,2,3,4 currently and have produced a variety of interesting pets for my own use but this is my first customer order really.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Go to SWGCreatures and find beasts with Vuln resists for all except Kinetic, IIRC 2 on Corellia (Slicehound?). Mix that DNA with anything that has a good high HAM and special KR but nothing great in the other resists.

When you experiment max out everything except aggression and generate several clones CL20+ prolly. It's then just a matter of sampling those clones, perhaps mixing in some high HAM wild DNA but otherwise using 2nd gen + to hone the CL down to 19.

Basically the low damage + only having KR should allow you to max out the HAM for the CL. If you can introduce some DNA with useful special or ranged then all the better.

No offense but i would not go that route

Cl 18 provides plent of room for ham and plenty of room for Dmg

around there you can getaround 50% Special protection in Kinetic you can also usally push Ham up high, just remmber to gimp dmg and you can do alot

Also specials if removed can let you push up the Ham Further.

Since your on Dant im gonna recommend you hit up the Grauls of the non mauler variety up for DNA here is there stats:

Armor Rating: None

Special Protection

Kinetic 50.0%

Effectiveness

Energy 20%

Restraint 20%

Heat 20%

Cold 20%

if you dont experiment on prowlness i think it is then when you do your inital combine your dna will not have the Effictive % if you are luckey. this means that hopefully you should only have to drop some points into mind and at your level you only need one or two to even it up to what the other two ham stats sould be.

just get them to the same %'s since some people dont like uneven hams, although i tend to try and push mind higher since it only has one stim that can heal it.

those effective %'s are not that high but your best bet is Graul dna. ESP if you are going to make a cl 10-20 pet since there cl 30

with Graul and some other Dna you should be able to Strain out what you need, although i recomend you try and just mix pure graul dna together to see if it produces a good pet on the inital combine.

I'll try both methods, thanks for the replies. I'll go pester some grauls tonight and see what I can do. I've also taken note of Tal-n's comment on another thread about picket being bad to work with. I've been using a lot of picket DNA (9.5k credits a lair its easy money+sampling xp) but I think I'll try sticking needles in others things now.

Pushing mind higher would BE THE WORST thing to do. You don't even need stims to heal mind, tell your pet to do a trick

I've managed to get CL19-22 and 60% kinetic with around 8-9k health using bloodseeker mite guardian DNA. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I mixed it with - maybe one merek harvester in phys?

Check out the Perfect CL10 thread too, you're trying to do the same thing but with a higher CL and the same principle applies.
