Ive always been confused about the two modifiers: "Max level of pets" and "max number of pet levels".

My questions is: I just created a dewback and I want to be able to use it as a pet. I am currently 0/0/1/0 in CH. Do I need 1/0/1/0 or 0/1/1/0 to be able to put my dewback from the inventory into my datapadand then call it out?

Currently 1/1/0/0, until they changeCH around that is. That would give you 25 for taming, 25 for training. A dewback is at 18, until they changeBE around that is.

Max level of pets is the absolute top level of creature you can call out of your datapad and control.

Max number of pet levels isn't relevant until you get Creature Management 3 (currently) and can call out two pets at once. Then the combined level of both together can't exceed with while the level of one can't exceed the other.

For example, for me it's now 55 (4-4-4-4). If I call out my rancor (L50) I can call out something L5 or lower. If I call out my riverside sulfur mynok (L32) I'm limited to something L23 or lower (like a grand wrix). Since my max level of pets is also 55 I have no chance of calling out something L60 or higher.
