Okay I hear this term tossed around and I don't understand what it is. Can someone enlighten an up and coming BE? I'm currently at 3, 1, 4, 2 and got most of that in the past week. Just wondering what it is and how it benefits me as a BE.

I think you are referring to Muon Gold. It is a spice favoured by any class that uses the Mind pool and it's associated stats. It gives +600 to all blue stats for 10 min (I think) followed by a downer period.

Not sure how it would affect you as a BE - but as a medic or a rifleman the stuff is pretty incredible.

The muon gold allows for a large mind pool boost which allows for many more samples to be taken. Muon is extremely useful when grinding the sampling tree.

What did you do to get to level 4 sampling? This grind is going slow for me

What did I do? Mostly I crafted clones, and that got me most of the way there naturally. Some of the time I sampled from deeds in my house, but neither of those options reflect the current situation. Clone craftingdoesn't give the xp that it used to and the sample from deed exploit was fix a long time ago. All I can say is go sample from the highest cl you can reasonably get away with.

I'm not a master of the profession by any means, but I actually like to sample on nests of hermit spiders and occasionally kaadus (I'm on Naboo). The hermit spiders only give a little over 100 each, but there are usually 3 or 4 nests around me (near Kadaara) and each nest has like 20 or 30 spiders. It adds up fast. Plus they are pretty wimpy... even a weak pet can take them (heck, even I can take them with absolutely NO combat skills).
