Thread: Sampling a be'ed kimo broke?

I just made Master BE a few minutes ago, and tried the yard trash kimo to sample technique. I've tried to sample dna off of it 5 times and each time I failed. I was wondering if they stealth nerfed this since it isn't working, and are forcing me to head to Lok to find a kimo for myself. That'll really piss me off.

It won't do you any good to go to Lok and sample Kimos either. I am a Master BE and fail every time on sampling Kimos on Lok. Wearing a complete outfit of +17 each item mask scent and using Munon gold I was able to sample a total of a dozen times before I drew aggro and was killed. Not a single success.

I noticed the same thing myself this weekend. I'd say that we have been stealth nerfed. I noticed that I could dna sample from home made Rancors but not Kimos. I think that this has something to do with the Kimos level (90).

Man I really hate these stealth nerfs / bugs. We're not even fixed, and yet we find one aspect where we can turn a good profit (rancors made from kimo DNA) only to have it taken away from us. I hope this is only a bug, because I was very happy with the idea and looking forward to it upon reaching MBE. Now I'm also excited because of the possible changes and additions to creatures for our class, but please we need a source of upper lvl DNA that's attainable to make cool critters in order to keep up with the CH's. Please give us our kimo's back.

Thanks for the info on the wild kimo's too, I was about to head to Lok tonight.

Also, those of us who tried and can't sample might want to /bug it ingame, although if they intent was to trash kimo DNA bugging it might only let them know they're succeeding.

Thanks.
