Hey, i was just wondering if the +skill clothes are working now?

Also, how do they work, is there any special penalty for wearing them, what is the maximum number of +skill you can get and how does the price look today?

Yes, they are working. I am a bio-e/tailor and base my virtual life on them

The exact bonus varies with the tissue, quality of resources, and skill. The lower end tissues range from +1 to about +7 or so (realistically). The upper end ones vary from +5 to +17 or so (theoretically +20 I think). The quality of the resources plays a HUGE part in the mod, so use your best.

There is no disadvantage to wearing the modified clothing. Only one mod per piece of clothing, and the mod bonuses do not stack. Certain clothing is still bugged, so if you have doubts test it with a lower mod before comitting a good one. The mods fit into either synthetic cloth OR reinforced fiber panels, so the mods are restricted to certain types of clothes. Mods do not go into footwear or handwear, but you can put them in bandeleros (can't wear a pack with them though). You can make them in factories, but since the bonuses do not stack you will waste a lot of them. Price accordingly.

They currently do not work in armor, even the ones that require the panels or synth cloth.

I find the most requested mods to be the biosensors (medical bonuses). You could make a good living going to cantinas and med centers selling the clothing with bonuses, especially if you havea crafting droid out to do custom orders.
