Hey, what's up?
My Holo Told me to come here.... To be honest, when i cracked it and it said BE, i almost cried... Nothing personal, but i started this game way back as a weapon smith, and couldn't stand the crafting grind... and the thought of untraining all my hard earned Fencer skills i just earned...(maxed in with my TKM, I was fairly godly there for a while....) makes me very sad... BUT...
after sleeping on it... (after all... at this point with the change to the jedi system... i wonder if it's really worth it... i went back and fourth...) I came to a few conclusions..
1. TKM is enought combat for me... I really don't PvP... so my stacked Defence mods... event thought the pretty much rock... really aren't nessery... bye bye fencer...
2. Being a formor master CH, twice over, (both by choice) I really love the pets in the game... and i've always had it in the back of my mind to try this class.... SO...
I'm going to run with it... why not? nothing else really to do right now anyway... besides 3 months of death and distruction mastering tkm and fencer was kind of getting old...
Anyway, here i am.... nice to meet you all...
I need some starter advice... I read the holo grinder sticky... it was nice, i'll give the macro a try...
right now i'm kind of asking for prices... like how much should i pay for my grinding fodder?
what type should i buy, a ball park cost, and how much you think i need?
and when can i really start making some cool stuff? I pretty much plain on grinding out most of the levels, but i've got a goal of making the perfect Rancor at the end... a perfect mount... and, ah, can we make snakes?? (i keep snakes in real life...so i was kind of hoping to have a big bad as a pet... but have yet to find a really good one... GCS is the best i've seen... and it's not much...)
well... see you around... I'm fairly sure i'll be popping in more and more often as i get more and more confused.... (it doesn't take much...)

you need like 100k meat and lots of flora to grind micro nutrient supplements. i'd start collecting that stuff.
if you haven't started.... begin migrating your mind stats upwards. (you should already have it maxed for tka.) dna sampling takes lots of mind.
hangout at the dathomir sarlac pit. get used to seeing lots of rancors. you'll be getting friendly with the mutants when you reach master.
with other professions you'll eventually get schematics to make things that give better xp. unfortunately, BE pretty much has to stick with the 105xp per suppiment all the way to master.

sounds like you could rationalize killing yourself if the HOLO told you to 
For the long haul..pick up Master Scout. The mask scent isunbeatable when sampling high end mobs. This will be key in creating your Super Rancor.
I payed anywhere from 5-7 cpu for meat purchased (got most from PA) and 2-3 cpu for any flora I purchased (harvested most myself).
You will need at least 70K units of meat...maybe more? no idea on flora .
No snakes or flyers are craftable ATM.
I mastered before the latest patch..so I didnt make anything cool until I hit Master. It seems you can make nice creatures at most levels now from the start...so have fun with it and work DNA sampling up out of the gate.

if you can, pay only 3cpu. same with anything else. another thing you can do as you are a tkm is to get a group going with some of your buddies to aid you gather meat in dathomir doing rancor missions. the meat drop is very good in quantity and by the time you've finished all your missions, you'll have cash to buy your organics (crap quality berries oats etc at 3cpu) and a good stack of meat for the grinding.
I would suggest you start looking for resources merchants. there aer some holo merchants that also sell bulk loads of resources for grinding at cheap cost. scout around and see. the bazaar also has good chep stuff sometimes, just need to keep an eye out between levels.
Master Scout helps alot, but it will mean you'll have to sacrifice some TKM so i doubt you'll go for it.

I got to the point where I just wanted to get Master BE, so I ended up buying my last 30k meat from the bazaar.. I spent 6cpu on it there, but I found enough to finish my grind in no time, so it was worth it. It's all dependent on what you want to do and how long you want to spend doing it.
