Thread: I have gotten this request... Is it even doable ?

I have been looking at using Young Malkloc Plainswalker and Mantigrue Reaper DNA w/ Mutant In aggression.
I have made plenty of critters <= 35 with 60 Kin resist's but have never tried to get the balance of the resists to <=45 and i think getting that type of dmg will be tough.

If he wasn't set on the 45% resists to everything else and the damage, that would be an easy order to fill. Personally I don't think it'll be possible since the damage and additional resists bump the Cl way up.

Impossible to make with 45% to everything else, you'd need to drop the armor to make that even remotely possible. The fact is that you'd find it nearly impossible to get significant resists and armor for anything under CL40 unless you dropped the damage into the rock bottom to counter it.

I had an order like that sometime back, pretty close to what you have there.
I was looking at at CL>31 pet..(my gosh...some people are just **edit** greedy aren't they? :smileywink

Strong poison/Diease
Dmg > 300
Ranged.
Not quite as tough as yours, but still, a challenge.
High stun resists, are quite hard to find. For me anyway. High Stun Resist creatures normally have a distinct vulnerablity, mostly in important things like..energy or kinetic, or pretty low such that I can't make a KIN60 clone, unless the creature is pretty high CL. This is IMO, been a Master BE for only 2.5 weeks now.
After a lot of time doing generation cloning, paying a ridiculous amount of travel fare, CL 38/39 was as close as I got. Used , Rhoa Kwi Pack Hunters, Hilltop gurrecks, Prowling Gurrecks, TMBs, BMBs, Merek Death Heads, Ancient Grauls, Young Malkoc Plainswalker, and Karimuths..Even then, the other resists stayed mostly in their 20s and low 30s. You could bring them up for sure..but at the cost of CL. End state, project failed.
(Unless someone would like to tell me how to do it here..)
So... and I hate to sound like the wet blanket after posting a useless enough post, but I think tell your client to rethink his CL, it probably would be possibly if he/she let you push the CL to 40, or let some of the less used resists drop to 10-20( Like Cold).
With resists/stats like that, I'd almost immediately assume they plan to use it for PvP, and for 1 solid week of my own efforts, with the kazillionth gen clone, I still haven't been able to do it...and it's not even as tough as yours.
G'luck with your efforts, but honestly, and I'm sorry once again for not being able to give you more information than, I really don't think it's quite doable. But if you do, charge like a **edit** million for it or something!

Thx everyone for the feedback. I thought that it would be a tall order to fill and sounded like a pipe dream.

I usually make the client aware that while it's technically possible to end up with something like that (i'd say given around 10 hours of effort I could do that and have 35%+ to secondry stats) then it would be double my usual fee because it's a very specific and difficultcustom build. Most of them usually take a look around my showroom and take a pet which I have on display, they cost less because they were made just for fun and not to fill an order. Less stress you see. Infact I had 2 customers yesturday doing that, one left with a nice Hardened Howling Gurreck which was CL45 with light armor 58% kinetic and 62% energy with 40%+ to everything else. Also had blinding and intimidation so it was about as perfect a tank as you can imagine. The other came in for a PvE tank and left with two animals because one of their friends wanted something which was in there too.
Quiet a profitable day really.

I would think that 62% against energy is very Possible. Especially if you use VHQ DNA of a higher resist breed. It will raise the CL of course. My CH level won't let my pets have armor but I can at least control a 60 against Kinetic & Energy Pet. I also find that with Armor you lose some health and lets be honest. The only good pets for PvP have extremely high damage and DOT's. Even a large level pet can be solo'ed by many Highly trained fighters.
