Thread: A few TIPS and MACROS to help ANY BE get their work done more efficiently.
You asked for crafting tips, so here you go!
To craft tissues for BE XP, I have created 4 generic crafting kits myself, and put them in the F1-F4 slots on a toolbar. I can then craft anywhere, anytime using my crafting droid. The nice thing about that droid is that it does not allow you to experiment, so you do not have to deal with that extra step. (Just do not be too close to a public crafting station, as that can affect this.)
To have the scenario I am going to describe work effectively, I do the following to set things up:
1) Put single low overall quality "flora" and "meat" stacks in my main inventory. (With lots of backups in my backpack.)
2) Craft one bio-cloth (I forget it's name, but it is on the first level - stops bleeding) and carefully align all the windows as they come up so that the "next" stage buttons are all in the same exact place on the screen. This is so that next time I craft, I can just keep clicking in one spot and go from window, to window, to window...
3) Make sure you have set to "practice" mode since this gives a little more XP and will not fill up your inventory with junk you don't want or need.
Now, hit F1 and choose the bio-cloth tissue you just set up for and repeatedly click on the meat until the two meat slots are filled, and repeatedly click on the flora until that slot is filled as well. Then, repeatedly click on the "next" button area until all the windows that come up for the rest of that particular crafting session have been dispatched.
As soon as the last windows disappears, hit F2 and repeat. When it's last window disappears, hit F3. Same for F4, an by the time it's last window goes away, the first crafting kit is done with it's session and you can start over with F1. I got 15,000 XP in about a half hour doing this today. I have actually found it to be faster than using a macro, and can do it while getting healed in a cantina, waiting for a shuttle, waiting for a muon gold downer to subside, etc... It's a really easy way to get this type of XP without as much effort as it might seem that it would take.
I hope that helps someone! =)
