I have tried the one in the FAQ, but it targets me and I cannot get it to work. Please help.

This is the one from the FAQ

/ui action targetSelf

/ui action cycleTargetOutwards

/follow

/pause 5

/sampledna

/pause 11

/ui action toolbarSlot11

I had trouble with this one also. All I had to do to make it work is to the s off /ui action cycleTargetOutwards. So it should read /ui action cycleTargetOutward NOT /ui action cycleTargetOutwards

Also make sure that you have the camera as far back from your character as you can get. The target option is base on feild of view.

You can add a

/sit

/pause

/stand

routine in there to regenerate some mind while you wait to finish the sample. Not necessary, but reduces downtime somewhat.

Why run a macro?

Just go to Dantooine and sample Pikets and Bols, dont shoot the lairs, run back and forth between 2 of them... they will keep respawning for ever.

I only had explore 2 and mastered DNA Sampling in about 3 hours.
