Ok, I know how pets work. They're stored in the datapad. What I don't know exactly, is how BE pets work. I'm confused because I see BE pets in houses, just decoration, you know what I'm talking about.

Where are these pets stored? Datapad? Inventory? For a non-CH, multiple pets can't be called... so I assume it's not the datapad. A friend of mine wants a particular creature and I know she doesn't want to actually use it in combat, but I believe she wants to be able to pull it out in public for fun. So what's best? BE or just a regular pet?

I don't know if the type of creature matters but.... the one she wants is a bunny looking thing...of course ican't remember the namenow.

BE pets are in a form of a deed (kinda). it will be in your inventory and may be dropped like an item until the pet is tamed. once tamed, the pet will be in your datapad from now on.

regular wild pets will always be in your datapad.

she prolly wants the squall (fox like bunny)

if she just wants a creature for looks in her house, then go with a BE pet.

lol makes sense to me! there are so many different "bunnies" to make its sickening...i like squalls personally

. you see pets in houses because when a BE makes a pet, it goes to the inventory first, so since it is technically an item, you can put it in a house. the question about it being out in public, if its a CL 10 or below (of course) then your friend can show it off. its either put it in a house or use it to answer your question

BE pets are individually crafted creations that come out of the crafting tool as pet deeds. When you drop a pet deed on the ground in your house, it appears not as a tiny piece of paper (like a harvester does) but rather as a copy of the pet. When a CH (or anyone for CL10 or less pets that aren't aggressive) tames a BE deed such as I've described, it eats the deed and stores in the datapad - exactly like a speederbike does. After this, all the normal caveats of tamed creatures apply.

The answer to your question about which she should get is either (provided your friend's pet can be tamed in the wild). The advantages of a BE verision is that it is a lot less time consuming to have a BE make the pet for you than it is find and tame it in the wild, and also, your BE pet can have the abilities of a rancor in a cute fluffy bunny shell.

there's durnis, vir vurs, and squalls.... though she's probably talking about the squall, the other two don't have eyes or tails and look kinda creepy ifya ask me.......

anyway.... a be can easily, VERY easily, make you a pet just to carry around and call whenever you want, but you need to find a creature handler (or if you're in a luck, a be with some ch) to tame it for you
