Thread: Crafting Mastery for BE's

I was wondering if the force sensitive tree of crafting mastery actually works for BE, as it seems like so many other crafting things don't. I guessing it is ok for tisses and medicines (??) but will it work for pets?

Thanks in advance,

Dor

These sorts of bonuses are so difficult to test that I think the honest answer is that nobody has a clue. Just like nobody really has a clue how much their perfect value crafting station helps them, or how well their crafting droid works relative to that, or exactly what benefit they are getting from bespin port and p.cake. It's almost more of a plecebo than anything, lol.

good point yes.

Arthur - my husband just walked in and said ... interestingly ... Hitchhikers just took in 4.2M pounds at the box office on it's opening week lol - that could NEVER have been planned .

BTW we saw the film during server downtime on Sunday. Loved it - except the beginning where they had the dialogue all WRONG. You know, you're watching and they are missing big chunks of dialogue that your head is filling in and saying it with the wrong inflexions and stuff. Once we got away from that part, it was very cool. Really liked Marvin.

er ... that was a bit off topic ... unless fish could maybe be considered BE b/c of the meat

In regards the crafting stations, I remember seeing a rather complete test reported that crafting stations did have an effect on the percentage of critical fails but nothing else. Can't recall where I saw it though. It was since the first of the year.

I agree in general though, that many things in the game seem to have some advantage, but not necessarily an advantage that the players perceive as actually useful; i.e. current duration extension from enhancement paks.

The upshot is, what the developers add as 'an advantage' if often meaningless in a real sense to the players, but you can't say it isn't there.

It absolutely works in medicalcrafting. Before I got FS crafting, I would have about a 30% perfect success rate hand-crafting Janta Enhancepacks (pre-CU). The other packs usually ended up low charges, or effectiveness. After I got 2 boxes in experimentation and technique it was more like 99% perfects. I definitely get more amazing successes.

It's a ton a work and time to get though. I would only recommend it if you plan on hand crafting a lot, or if you really really want that extra few charges in your meds. You can always max power with 10 or 11 points.
