Thread: Herb meat pricing
Your also going to have to take into account how dangerous it is to harest. If the creatures your getting the Herb Meat off of Animals that are social and will all attack you at once there is no way to do it without a group and even then it could be very dangerous.
Most serious harvesters of Creature Resources will not collect for less then 15 CPU, as they feel it is an insult of the time they spent for a specific resource. Only Guild Mates will do stuff like Collect Resourcesfor really low prices.
I suggest if its a planet like Lok and Herb Meat (coming off social creatures and the planet itself is dangerous) if the OQ is above 900 and PE is above 900 then 20- 35 cpu will get people to collect enough for you to make large factory runs.
the problem is many rangers and other professions that made a living on harvesting are still trying to charge pre cu prices, and of course with a player based economy other crafters are driving up prices, current spawn of scalley hide has a 30cpu asking price.
Fortunately Herb Meat isnt going to be as big of a demand as it used to bem yes still needed for ACRDM's and some tissues, but not as important as insect or avian meat.
I persoanlly would love to see animal harvested prices drop to a reasonble price of max 15cpu , My prices are actually in an excel spreadsheet based on the prices of resources, if the price of a meat needed in a certain component goes up all i ahve to do is alter the price and the entire spreadsheet updates to an new price scale. currently meat prices are based on 20-50cpu. if prices come down so will the prices of instatstims and medical enhancers as well as tailor tissues.
Oh as for what I think its worth.. Our formula is 66OQ/33PE in general. so i plug the stats into thatformula and get a new 1000 sacle score....OQ 980 , PE 500 = 820so 8.2cpu would be target at most 12.3 cpu , but no more than that.
