Pretty sure you need to harvest meat. Might be able to use grains too.

Meat and grains to make creatures. Anything that's flora and not wood will do the trick.

He's not talking pet food, he's talking the ingredient listed in many of our schematics as creature food. For pet food you do ineed use edible items made by a chef or that you get using the forage skill. To answer the original question, no, creature food is the same as meat, it's just any meat rather than a specific tyoe. Now if it says creature resource rather than creature food, that can be hide, bone or meat. Since many of our schematics that take creature resource have OQ, PE and Flavor in the formula, you're probably better off using meat.

Sigh, I need either an edit button or a TypoBlocker(tm) on my fingers -reposted for spelling and clarity.

I have been using harvested meat as creature food. Is there any other options? Ive tried player food and it didnt work, nor did flora harvested stuff.

Thanks.

Domestic Arts in Artisan, though even the lowliest food @ Novice Artisan does the same trick.

If you mean for Cloning, it is Meat. Any type will do. Creature food is meat/fish and floral food is well self evident.

What is a creature food?

what is an example of one?

Who can make it/harvest it?
