Thread: Non ch pet Rancor's/gurrecks?

I have been seeing lots of people on the Bria server selling non-ch Rancor's and gurrecks. I was wondering if they are still possible to make right now or is it all prenerf? I see people trying to sell them for 15 mill one day then 8 mill the next, but i always see people trying to sell them. I was reading some posts before trying to find out the answer on my own but i dont understand all the bio-engineer lingo.

The lowest possible CL on a rancor is 35 (if not higher). Gurrecks would be do-able, I think, but nothing on the scale you're talking about (not for a non-CH, anyway).
Sounds to me like people are either selling former furniture pets (which are CL = 1 when grown) or are exploiting with pre-patch screwed up DNA. Either way, there's no way I'd recommend buying one unless you want to be out the ungodly amount of credits they seem to want and minus a pet when the CSRs find out or the devs finally fix all that.

Sounds like a former furniture pet to me. You still have to be at least novice CH to use them, as they are aggressive species (I am of the opinion that this constitutes an exploit, but there are others who would disagree).
I would say to just leave it all alone, but hey...whatever floats your boat, I suppose...
Just don't come whining back here saying we didn't warn you when you've paid a million bajillion credits to have a CSR kill the pet or the devs make it invalid

That sounds insane, must be the old pre-patch ones used for furniture. Although, gurrecks, at least the new ones, can be tamed by non-ch,not sure about the old ones, (I make a lot of non-ch gurrecks for my guild).

sorry but no non ch rancor's, because I myself have NEVER managed to find a non aggro rancor or mauler, aggro's are mid level ch no matter what.
