Okay... I have been experimenting andtrying to search these boards for the answers. But I just cannot seem to make it work.

1) How do you go about getting the high levels cl60+? Is it dependent upon the creature level you sample? And which boxes most effect level of creature in the genetic template? Where should I be throwing my experimentation?

2) How do you get an armor rating?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

muntant rancors are the favorite but any cl70-75 that you can find (not many)

Armor get the fort above 500. you can see it show up in the menu. Do not need armor DNA to get armor pet but it seems to help.

Does anyone have a waypoint to Rancor Valley? All manner of shouts and tells has left me rather waypointless...

Just a thought, if you have a master CH friend with an elite combat profession and you group with him, you can get mutant rancor missions. FYI.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

One thing to remember is that a high CL does not gaurantee a super-pet; you can create something, have it result in a CL65-70 and still not stand up to another pet created at CL55 (and there's nothing more frustrating then over-experimenting and producing a CL72).

Some of it is in the dna chosen, the quality of that dna,and where you place it in the template, some where you decide to use experimentation points, and the rest is the luck of the system in what sort of success (or failure) you have.

For armor, you'll have the best chance if you place dna from an armored creature in the physical, prowess, and aggression slots then experiment in physique to get fortitude at or above 500.

I find that the customers who want a high level pet are usually looking for high HAM (11.5k to 13k), armor, good resists with the kinetic maxed (whichseems to be at 60%),damage, a high To Hit, and often at least one special that they favor.

Umm No, CH or Master CH will get you bull rancors with your pets out but you need a master sword/fencer/commando to get the mutant rancors. CH no longer being an Elite profession.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.
