You don't need a combat profession. You need mask scent. You cannot sample fighting mobs. Get Exploration 4, some +maskscent clothes and Jawa Beer and maybe some travel biscuits for TN.

I am Chef/BE, some scout and medic. If a creature attacks or detects me i run up some hills or jump on my bike. Never died or got incapped.

There is no way to afk macro BE; you stop successfully sampling when your inventory is full of DNA and there is no afk crafting macro, unless you use a 3rd party programme, which is against the EULA.

I am also going up sampling and have discovered if you take missions you can sample everything to death and make some money at the same time. You just have to be careful about attcking the lair, shoot it for about a second the stop wait a couple of seconds and try again eventually more creatures will spawn but if you are not actually attacking at the time they spawn they won't aggro you so you can just begin the samping.You will get the technique quickly,it takes a little longer but adds to fun (IMO) and you make some cash. When you get to 2 or three you can go to dant and take picket missions and get 9k a time alone which soon adds up as you need to do lots or em. I am on voritor dashers atm which are dangerous fellows but as i am also doing pistoleer and am in no rush i like killing em if they aggro.
