Since the GCW update with the factional bases and the NPC revamp, I've noticed that every Dark Trooper I've come across pulls out a stun baton when you engage it in melee. Has anyone seen them use anything else, or try to kite with an energy weapon? If not, then this might be useful for a rebel:
Pygmy Torton Matriarch - PTM - Adult Pygmy Torton - APT - PTM, all available from the pygmy torton cave. Might have to gen it down to get it NCH, but its only CL 25/20 to start so it shouldnt take more than 2 gens.
Should yield 20% kin 20% en and 100% stun, meaning it could sit and tank stun baton troopers all day while you kill them at your leisure and farm faction all day at the Naboo Imp Weapons Facility where every mob is a DT, assuming you find a way to manage the DT's AI so they stay using stun batons.
Anyone wanna try this out and see if they can fine-tune the recipe? Might have a new 'legit' nonCH application besides VD HP

I haven't PvPed since before the GCW changes but I had been looking into a Non-ch pet with 100% (or at least one that was around CL15), the problem is introducing vulns and keeping 100% and that was one of the biggest tasks I could see.

hmm i'll definately have to go check this out and maybe try the recipe...it would be awesome to get the 100 stun on something that a beginning ch or non-ch can use. i'd be interested to see what a non-ch like this would go for

well of course you dont really have much room for messing with resists, since you're basically forced to choose between 3 flavors of Torton, and everything bigger has even more resists than that.
It'd have to be 100%, not 99% even, as the HAM would likely suck muchly to get the CL to go down low enough; of course, it could be 1/1/1 HAM as long as it was taking pure stun damage.
But another thought occurred, stun baton wielding NPCs can still stick bleeds which do damage, which means you'd needdecent HAM and probably buffs on your pet to keep it immortal. Still would own on DTsfor massive tanking, and if you had medic 2000 you could negate the bleed problem.

I was able to succefully make a 100% stun pet with Torton (Tortor?) Bulls on Talus. I maxed out the mind at 2.5K and lef the other bars to be buffed. You can get missions for them.
One tactic with these is to have them "heel" and send them into attack once the stun baton is pulled. You need to work out a good way to transfer agro to the pet (/enrage maybe?).

Well bleeds do not cause incap, so he could be bleeding out his eyes but he would still be able to tank the nova dark trooper with a stun baton.

- and the guard command works for this. Just as long as you set the pet to guard you every time before you go into an agro, it will (most of the time) pull the agro of you.
