Then I have non-CH customers who insist on pets that can only by CL 10 or below if you spend a lot of time with generational cloning, which I haven't had time or inclination to do. You know, things like intimidate/strong poison or disease pets, when it's next to impossible off raw DNA to get those particular attributes and have any amount of respectable H value so the pet can play its true role, tank. The intim is very nice with that because of course it reduces the target's damage, but posion/disease is just too unpredictable and too weak to be of much hope.
SioBabble - by respectible H - I am not sure if 4K is enough for you. If it is then you might enjoy these:
(VD is voritor dasher of course)
CL10 - 4-5K/3K/1K - med poison - damage around 70
VD-VD-DN-DN-Syck: experiment physique to get not above 300 hardiness (stop if you get anywhere near 280).
(DN is dwarf nuna)
CL10 - 4-5K/3K/1K - intimidate - damage around 50
VD-VD-SV-SV-SV: experiment physique to get not above 300 hardiness (stop if you get anywhere near 280).
(SV is sevorrt)
CL10 - 4-5K/3K/1K - mild disease - damage around 50
VD-VD-DiN-DiN-DiN: experiment physique to get not above 300 hardiness (stop if you get anywhere near 280).
(DiN is diseasednuna)
*tip - to get the special from the 'donor' to stick it is best to use somewhat 'weak' VD dna. I'm not sure if what i mean by weak is lower hardiness or lower quality so play around and see for yourselves.
Obviously, you can use this sort of approach to tailor almost all specials that appear on 'weak creatures'onto the DNA. It's simply a matter of finding the right donor. If the 'donor' power etc. are too strong then you will need to experiment less - or even play around with swapping out the sample positions. Try (i think it was) mound mite - gave me 2 nice specials on a level 10.
HAM values and results may vary of course.
Good luck,

I'm really chuffed becauseI worked these out myself - so now I am sharing ... I sell these for 20K on tatooine in my petshop and they are easy to 'churn out'.

PS. OK now i feel silly. Of course you meant intimidate AND strong poison/disease ... these aren't much use to you then. I'll leave them up and maybe they will be useful to someone. -- Dor

VD VD Trash Trash Trash recipes are pretty standard fare already, actually......and most specials on trash pets arent that useful, especially since its hard to get specific combinations like stun/intim

This isn't right exactly. I use this recipe all the time, since I live on Tatooine and my CL10 vendor is on Dantooine. Experiment physique, and only physique, to get hardiness around 350. If you go over 380 the animal will not come out a CL10. If you hit 350 you will have a CL10 with 6K health and around 70 damage.

Thanks for that correction - I'll try it.
As for feeling good about having worked them out myself - i'll just go crawl into a corner and hide now shall I? I really did and was feeling pleased but obviously everything has already been done already in BE and we must not perturb the high and mighty know-it-alls by repeating old information - after all, it's their joy to stomp all over us slower people who might not be as practiced or wonderful but are still TRYING.
Because ... you might not know it ... but there are ways of using humor and NICENESS to say something like good job - we've already actually known that for ages ourselves ...
Disgusted,
Dor

Don't let one person's comments get you down. It's true that many revelations you're going to come across have been discovered by "older" BE's already. So what? They are still revelations that make the game fun.
I would disagree that the specials on yard trash are not worth the effort. The most requested specials I get is strong posion, intimidation and stun. A CL10 with intimidation is very marketable. Non-creature handlers are going to use them as tanks anyway so most aren't going to care how much damage they do or what specials they have. It's all about the HAM and the resists.

If you want to add:
VD/VD/--/--/NightSpider - Crippling Strike & Mild Poison - damage 70-75
VD/VD/--/--/Rabid Shauput - Intimidation & Mild Disease - damage 75-80
I like those two because they come with two specials and are easy to find (in the same area no-less).

Good work Dorelli,if I could add another recipe many people use (who like Endor).
DMA - BJ - SQ - SQ - SQ
DMA = Delirious Merek Avenger
BJ = Blushing Jax
SQ = Squall
Max physique.
6.5k/4k/2k (if I remember correctly)
55 damage
depending on the quality of DNAs, some specials stick
I didn't find it, but I thought I would share.

Thank you all very much - I feel a lot better now. I'd just come back from visiting my BIL in the hospital and was feeling down (his kidneys failed and he is delirious and he's going to be in there for about a month) and all your great support really was nice to make me feel a bit better.
Boo (nobody gets more than 3 letters in chat from me and I like boo so, unless you object
... i made those sevorrt L10's tonight and was SO happy. Spot on 349 and 350 got me a level 10. I'd never dared to go above 300 before on those - i THINK b/c when I did try to go to 295 on the syck/dwarf nuna ones - it came out level 11.
Kivrin - I didn't realize that the nightspiders had 2 specials - I will have to try that ... so far I've been playing with overkreetles other insecty things on tatooine to get --- i can't remember ... something and stunning ...
Rahbert - thanks
Tytan - hmmm - a good one for higher HAM and i didn't know about it at all! I will have to pick up some of those dna's next time I'm brave enough to go to endor ...
Thanks,
Dor

I'm glad you're persuing what most would call the "standard" CL10 animal instead of concentrating on the "uber" 10's.
These standards are marketable and will help fund your research. You're also learning much more about pet crafting than a person who just wants to make uber 10's in the hopes of making tons of credits.
By the way, my name is pronounced Boo boo pa doo. I can't spell it that way however because the profanity filter blocks the name. The first four letters are a "bad" word I guess. I'd say someone needs to get the stick out but hey, they didn't ask me.
