I have a question, becuase I am tired of getting 1 hit incapped or unable to take a combat level 4, when I am combat lvl 9.

If we are a combat profession, where is our armor? What armor can we wear?

We can wear recon armor: tantel or ubese. We can wear the basic w/o penalty on movement / accuracy, but I'd go with the advanced stuff and just don't worry about the penalties really. You can still move. (My 2 credits).

If you want to get more CL - work up the DNA sampling tree. At the top of it you will be CL 17.

Since when do BE boxes give CL? I totally missed that.

Well ... I haven't actually TESTED this on live but ...

on TC-EP3 I stripped down to a bare novice BE to see what combat level that was. It was 5.

I frogged up to master BE to see what combat level that was (when they FINALLY opened the frogs to skill building) and it was 17.

I have currently on live got master CM (level 40), and BE 2444 and I'm CL 57

and since 40+17 makes 57 ... I assume that the CL adjust is in the DNA sampling tree

Because DNA sampling can ONLY be done outside and therefore must be combat maybe

I suppose I could just drop all of BE DNA sampling and see if I go back down to 40 but ... i really don't wanna do that (moan) ...

Therefore, I could be wrong. For which I apologize in advance. Can anyone confirm this? Hey is this how rumors start?

PS. Will try to systematically test grouping with higher levels and lower levels and post results - encourage others to do the same.

PPS Same for grouping with pets and damage taken/given by them with different combat level groups ...
