Thread: How were the CL0(1)'s created?

I wasn't a BE back then, just wondering what the deal was with crafting them. Thanks.

That is almost correct but it missed one thing. Yes, BE's used to put any type of DNA into a pet skin and get an animal similar to that found in the wild and yes, a quarter of the animals we made were not tamable (they didn't have babies in the wild so they couldn't be tamed even if they were BE made. Stupid but let's move on.) Then came the great BE revamp. DNA changed to include stats and specials from the animals they were pulled from. A template was created that decided what the end product was going to look like stat wise. Before, the skin decided the stats, now it's the template.


During this great revamp new animal schematics were given to BE's. The old schematics remained and those animals created with the old schematics worked. Any animal that was in deed form became0/1 level because the new system could not determine the level of a deed with old stats. Remember those bugged animals used as statues? Well they were alldeeds because they couldn't be tamed. This is why you see a creature handler with a CL70 pet and a CL0/1 blurrg running around together. The system does not recognize the blurrg as a CL50 as it should which allows a creature handler to pull it out with another high level animal.

way back at the dawn of time the art of crafting BE pets was , stuff any dna into a skin and wallah you make a similar pet to what is caught in the wild. Back then some BE skines were completely untamable , blurggs, Kahmurras and kimos. Anyway a few people made kimos and what not for statuesa and they had awesome killer stats as they were equal to a kimo in the game. Anyway BE's got little love and barely were noticed, then unti the mount patch came out, then all of a sudden we wer emaking pets galore by pumpimg out kaduus and what not to satisfy thre growin hunger to have the newest thing, can you believe we could sell a L11 Kaduu back then for 200K or more. Anyway with the new explosion of pets people with poor graphic cardsa and no ram tp speak of moaned that pets were lagging them, (no they had crappy PC's) so to cut back on the value of pets in the game the CH nerf bat came down. Basically it destroyed the CH class as a combat profession and completeyl alterd how BE worked. NOW this is where ther CL0 pets come in. Pets made and in deed for prior to the patch but NOT tamed, remained int he game, BUT if they were tamed afterward they became bugged, withthis awesome L0 pets, yes you could as a master ch have 3 L0 Blurrgs out an command them, even though their stats were equivalnt to L50 each., dont say you couldnt because at one time i did it to prove it. having two level o's out with any other preferbly a Level 68-69 was more common. The dev team never fixed it, and they remined usable in the game, HOPEFULLY when the devs finally fix BE pet crafting and ch in the cu, they will remove them form the game, players ahve ran around with those exploits for way too long.
